Traditional men’s formal jacket. Usually silk and usually with simple outside design and a rich story embellishing the inside lining. Often have “Mon” or “family crest” on shoulders, sleeves and back.
The Mon is from the Samurai family who commissioned the making of that particular vintage jacket.
These are mainly “one size fits all” as they hang from the shoulders and don’t close at the front usually.
