Shipping Policy

This policy explains how we handle the shipping of your Old Kyoto products to ensure they get to you in a timely and secure manner.

1. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. You will receive a second notification once your order has been shipped.

2. Domestic Shipping (Australia)
We use Australia Post for all our domestic deliveries.

  • Standard Shipping: For orders under $150, a flat rate of $10 applies.
  • Express Shipping: For orders under $150, a flat rate of $15 applies.
  • Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all domestic orders over $150.

Shipping times may vary, but we aim to have your order delivered within 2-7 business days from the date of dispatch.

3. International Shipping
At this time, we do not ship to locations outside of Australia.

4. How do I check my order status?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number. You can use this number to check your order’s status via the Australia Post website. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

5. Shipping to P.O. Boxes
We can ship to P.O. boxes within Australia.

Refund Policy

At Old Kyoto, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy details our process for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Return Policy
We have a 14-day return policy from the date you receive your item. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging.

To initiate a return, please contact us at [Your Support Email Address] with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with instructions on how to send back your item. Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of return postage.

2. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and work to make it right.

3. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on certain items. This includes earrings, beauty products, and perishable goods. Unfortunately, we also cannot accept returns on gift cards or sale items.

4. Exchanges
We are happy to exchange items for a different size or colour, subject to availability. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method (Credit Card, PayPal, or Afterpay). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
